Crystal Clear Wisdom
Back when AIHT adjunct faculty member Shelley Kaehr earned her Ph.D. in Parapsychic Science, only a relative few of our curriculum authors were regularly seen in mainstream media: Deepak Chopra as a notable guest on Larry King Live; Wayne Dyer, carving an educational niche with PBS. Marianne Williamson and Oprah Winfrey were not yet collaborators, although they are now; and pioneers of near death experiences such as Brian Weiss, M.D., and Raymond Moody were generally seen as other-worldly intellectuals. Nowadays, Weiss and Winfrey seem to have plenty to talk about; even amid fast-breaking news and frenetic scheduling changes, Oprah welcomed Weiss back repeatedly in 2008.
And as public fascination with the mystical and metaphysical soars higher each year, Shelley Kaehr has written a light-shedding library, with books on near-death experiences (Lifestream), the mysticism of Hawaiian Healing (Origins of Huna), and Edgar Cayce (Guide to Gemstones, Minerals, Metals and More), to name just a few. As a former metaphysical talk show host who is often featured on George Noory’s Coast to Coast, Shelley’s most recent radio interview on crystal skulls, a topic of fascination for the throngs of Indiana Jones aficionados, was picked up by The Dallas Morning News Online.
