Samantha Henney, H.H.D., Ph.D., is a Doctor of Holistic Health, a Metaphysician, and an Ordained Minister. Her counseling service is primarily for women; however, auxiliary services in Crisis Support, Hospital Ethics Mediation and Social Harmony Mediation are for men, women and children.
This Ministry for Health seeks to provide creative and caring information, advice, and spiritual support for optimum health maintenance. Ms. Henneys service is directed toward the Soul and our spiritual nature. Reiki International is offering Reiki IntensiveLevels 1-2 with certification on October 3 and 4, 1998. The course is being offered at a cost of $200. It has been approved for contact hours through the Vermont State Nurses Association and is sanctioned by the Kokoro Ji. Course content includes: ancient reiki history, ancient sanskrit energy anatomy, bio-field science, the law and reiki, healing techniques for self and client, Chi Kung and Shamanic Journeys that are related to healing. Harvard Medical School is organizing a conference in Spirituality and Healing in Medicine, December 12-14, 1998. This course will explore the role spiritual practices play as a complement to traditional medicine. the distinguished faculty will discuss the physiological, neurological and psychological effects that spirituality has on healing chronic and acute illness, depression and stress and will give perspectives from world religions. This conference is worth 21 credit hours in category 1 of the Physicians Recognition Award of the AMA, and is approved for CEU credit for social workers, psychologists and family physicians.
