REFLECTIONS

Dear AIHT,

I am writing to inform you of changes I have encountered since beginning your course... I took the B.S. in Metaphysics because I had so many questions about "religion" and life. I was involved in the Quaker church for most of my life. My daughter died six years ago and I turned my back on everything and everyone at that time, including God. I have been searching and trying to make sense of life since that time. A few years ago I met a teacher in the New Age and she has been a source of inspiration to me and I followed her example and thought this course might help me find answers to life. I am only on the fourth book and have found this course to be everything I wanted and more!!! Last night I had a glimpse of the Spirit I once knew years ago and today I continue to feel that PEACE. It was a long road home, but this course has helped me find my way -- THANK YOU!!!

Dear AIHT,

Practically since the day I began my Doctorate of Divinity program, homeless, abandoned and neglected kids began to arrive at my door. We accepted and cared for each one and after awhile realized that each was getting much healthier and happier. We just kept on taking care of each other, helping out, eating well and balancing rest and recreation. There was a lot of artwork and music in the air. One weekend we had seventeen kids, we average seven a night. Eventually, we named it the Center for Living Well, now the Living Well Academy. Our educare facility had several graduates, an assistant director and caretaker among it's students. Some of the graduates stayed on to pay their own way before they moved on. The program has four levels: 1) Unconditional Love 2) Acceptance 3) Self Esteem 4) Purpose (Direction).

We are currently publishing our own poetry/art book to aid in the financial development stage of expanding to a national network. We will maintain this center as a prototype and training center for advocates. The next center is scheduled for Boulder, Colorado this summer.
