REFLECTIONS

Dear AIHT Staff and Faculty,

I would like to give you some updated news about me since I graduated from AIHT in March 1995 with a Ph.D. in Metaphysics.

I have since completed a doctorate in Kriya Yoga where in April 1999 I was ordained as a Swami (priest), and initiated as a Guru in Kriya Yoga at The Temple of Kriya Yoga Seminary in Chicago, Illinois. Besides running a full, holistic counseling and spiritual practice, Compassionate Heart Holistic Program, Inc. in Chatham, New Jersey, I am currently conducting Sunday spiritual services at Diviana Emporium in Randolph, New Jersey. These services are interfaith and based on the Kriya Yoga teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda.

I have been given a spiritual name: Swami Chitraananda which means "a star or constellation, or a light unto the world."

I have a seven-page web-site (which displays my ordination picture) at www.compassionateheart.com, and my e-mail is deedee@compassionateheart.com.

I am not only a graduate of AIHT, but a former adjunct faculty member. My experience at AIHT, I believe, led me to where I am today... fulfilling all my dreams!!!

Dear Vibrations Editor,

On September 30, 1999, I will graduate from AIHT with a Bachelor's in Metaphysics. I hope to complete my Master's and Ph.D. in the coming years as well.

The curriculum thus far has greatly enhanced my personal enlightenment as well as the quality of my work as Director of Vital Touch Center for Healing, Inc., a holistic health center which I founded in 1996.

With the help of the skills I achieved through AIHT, my business (and my spirit) is thriving. AIHT has helped me to see that it is possible to have both financial and spiritual abundance!
