I enrolled in the Medical Billing and Coding program online at AIHT. Throughout the entirety of my time there I was given constant support, they were very patient and understanding and always pushed me to succeed and provided any resources I could use to get me to where I wanted to be. Lauren always had a smile and a comforting voice whenever I caked or came into her office having a fit because I was worried about something. Her demeanor is ideal for a flustered student. Aum Patel was with me from orientation to externship and his professionalism and easy going personality is the perfect mix when a student is feeling unsure, has questions, needs advice and any sort of help. He helped me find the externship site that fit my needs no matter how long it took to work around what I had going on Aum never gave up and made sure I was able to complete my program.

My coding teacher Devasya Patel has the patience of a saint. No matter how many times he had to teach and teach a topic he did it with extreme patience until I understood. I successfully completed the program and got my NHA certification.

This was the first major step in a big career change for me and I’m glad I found AIHT. It set the foundation and gave me a chance to see that this is a career I not only can do but actually enjoy doing it. I’ll be moving on to obtain my CPC certification while working on my BS in Health Information Management. When I started at AIHT it was clear on what my future would look like. With the foundation of knowledge and experience I am leaving with I now have a solid plan for the future. Thank you!
