Patient Care Technician (PCT)
AIHT's Patient Care Technician program prepares you for entry-level positions in direct patient care — combining electrocardiography (EKG), phlebotomy, and nursing assistant training into one fast-track credential, capped off with a hands-on clinical externship in a long-term care setting.
Theory classes are conducted online with a live instructor via Zoom. Lab classes are held in-person on campus, and the clinical externship takes place at one of our affiliated long-term care facilities.

AIHT School offers great career programs and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and supportive of your career goals.
Overall, this school provides a solid education, and the teachers are extremely helpful in ensuring you pass successfully. They offer an externship course that has been great for on-the-job training. Very good communication from the program director and flexibility offered.
I would recommend this school to anyone that is considering a change of career or even one who wants to elevate themselves. I applied during one of the most difficult seasons of my life and career, but the administrators made the process easy for me, being patient and always reaching out to me with my every concern.
