Vascular Technologist

Vascular technologist, work towards conducting sonographic exam to create images in order to help physicians assess and diagnose medical conditions. Sonographers schedule and coordinate tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs.

Most of the AIHT students comes for vascular training from the different areas of Connecticut such as Stratford, Bridgeport, Stamford, Hartford, Boston, Waterbury, Norwalk, Bethel, Brookfield, Danbury, Darien, Easton, Fairfield, Greenwich, Milford, Monroe, New Canaan, New Fairfield, Newtown, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Redding, Ridgefield, Shelton, Sherman, Trumbull, Weston, Westport, Wilton and New York.

Program Credentials

  • After completion of the program student may appear for certification examinations offered by: Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
