AIHT Education’s Certified Nursing Assistant program starts January 20th, 2020. The program is 6- 8 weeks long with day and evening classes available. This course is designed for students that want to become Certified Nurse Assistant in the State of Connecticut by meeting the standard curriculum suggested by the Department of Public Health, State of Connecticut.
Certified nursing assistants (CNAs) fill the gap between patients and nurses – providing quality-of-life care to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, long-term care and hospice facilities, and in residential settings. They also gather vital information about patients’ conditions, which they relay to their supervisors, so their patients can get the care they need.

After completion of the program, students will appear for the Connecticut Nurse Aide Exam. Students are able to take the Prometric Connecticut State Nursing Assistant Exam at AIHT.
